The PETITION

Dear Congressman, Legislators and Government Representatives,

We are writing to ask that a state congressional investigation be initiated into whether the Family Court of Los Angeles is allowed to take custody away from a parent when there is no pending custody dispute and when there has been no allegation registered with the department of childrens services against the custodial and no evidence of parental misconduct.

We also ask for an investigation into the conduct of the child’s appointed legal counsel, Ruth Lynn Estep in not advocating and insisting upon the child’s stated wishes being heard in court and her failure to advocate for the child’s best interests which include continuity with siblings and family, educational needs, medical needs and the right to live where she desires

We also ask for minimum guidelines to be set for adequacy of representation of children by minor’s counsel. We ask for hearings on child endangerment, misuse of public funds, Misfeasance and malfeasance in the Family Court of Los Angeles.

And for further investigation into the office of court counsel in Los Angeles with particular regard to the possibility that court counsel is advising Judges to evade compliance with state law.

We request these actions to be taken in consideration of the needs and best interests of the children of the State of California.
